About Karen Wilfrid
Karen Wilfrid is a writer and seventh-grade English teacher based in Newton, Massachusetts. Her debut novel, Just Lizzie (HarperCollins-Clarion, 2023) is available at bookshop.org. She is a graduate of GrubStreet's Novel Incubator program, and now specializes in essays, fiction, and teaching seventh graders the finer points of comma usage. Her work has appeared in Cicada magazine, Publishers Weekly, and Embark literary journal.
