Rose Himber Howse is a student in GrubStreet’s Novel Incubator. She is currently revising her first novel, Stones They Broke, which explores queer identity in the southern Appalachian Mountains. Rose enjoys writing about, and eating, neon orange foods. She also teaches literacy to adults in Boston.
