Flutter 2 Kickstarter Announced

This summer, 215 Ink will release Flutter, Volume Two: Don’t Let Me Die Nervous, the latest in the Flutter graphic novel series by Jennie Wood and Jeff McComsey. Ahead of Flutter, Volume Two’s release, a Flutter Kickstarter is planned for April 13 through May 12. The goal of this Kickstarter is to raise funds to print enough copies of the 100+ page, full color Flutter Vol. 1 & 2 graphic novels so that we can get them into comic shops across the country…

Boston Pastry Chef to Publish First Novel

Congrats to Louise Miller, a Boston-based pastry chef and alum of Grub Street’s Novel Incubator program, who’s sold her first novel, Fair Season, to Pamela Dorman Books in a two-book deal. Fair Season follows a Boston pastry chef who accidentally sets her private club on fire and heads to Vermont, where she finds solace, love, and community as the chief baker and pie expert at a local inn.
